All restoration work begins with an assessment and written estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Work commences only after client approval and receipt of any required deposit.
If unforeseen issues are discovered during restoration that affect the scope of work or cost, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with additional work.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about furniture history, previous repairs, and any known issues. Disclosure of prior damage or repairs helps us plan appropriate restoration approaches.
Clients must arrange for furniture to be available for pickup at scheduled times or deliver pieces to our workshop as agreed. Storage fees may apply if completed work is not collected within 30 days of notification.
We maintain insurance coverage for furniture in our care. However, clients should maintain their own insurance for valuable or irreplaceable pieces. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, inherent vice in materials, or issues not disclosed during initial assessment.
Antique and vintage furniture may have hidden structural issues or material degradation that becomes apparent only during restoration. We will inform you of such discoveries and discuss appropriate solutions.
